Xbox can't access mines

I'm very new to the game and I heard u get mines at spring Day 5 I'm on day 12 and I can't access the mines is this a bug or do I have to do a mission for it

You’re at the wrong location. That’s the bus to the desert, where there is skull cavern. You unlock this later (you can unlock the bus by finishing a room in the community center and you need the skull key which you get by getting to the last level of the mine).

Go up to the mountains. There’s a mine behind the lake that was blocked by a worker.

Also the Minecart is "Out of Order" 'cuz you haven't unlock it yet to work. You can unlock it the same say the bus (see spoiler Ereo mentioned above).

You have to go to the Mines by foot.
