PC [BUG] Game Host's Horse Flute Not Working But Friend's Does

I just updated Stardew Valley and have been hosting multiplayer. I recently bought the horse flute but I'm unable to use it since it kept saying "You don't own a horse". I've tried using it outside at the farm, in town, on the island, to no avail. I had my friend try it out and it worked fine for them. What am I doing wrong?

How many stables do you have on your farm? You need to have gone to Robin yourself and built a stable, or named the horse. You can't call another player's horse, so if your friend was the one to name the horse you have, it counts as theirs.

My wife and I just experienced this on our switch.
She has the main account, and I bought & used the horse whistle before her, and it stole the rights to the horse lol
Did you have it happen again after? We are about to demolish both stables and try again for her
