Wild animals and new places

I think it would be interesting if the developer could add the following:

• To add wild animals that you could interact with, so maybe there can be frogs, wild boars, tortoises, squirrels, monkeys etc. Maybe you could raise their hearts and when it has reached a certain heart level, then you could bring it home to the farm.
• To add new places, I was thinking like a new island that you can get to using ship by buying a ship ticket. Maybe there, you could find exotic forageables, and meet new NPC's, both the ones that you can marry and you can't marry. There could also be shops there selling new kinds of trees, crops, etc.

i love the wild animal idea! i'd love to get to interact with them, even if you can't make them your pets. i'd love to be able to gift animals too and maybe they provide some bonuses in the day

You could also add in trapping them too, but maybe hunting wildlife could be a sore subject for some. Maybe there's some humane way to profit off it.

You can see squirrels in the game currently, although you can't interact with them.
