can someone explain the 18+ thing? Is it because you guys use a mic and like to talk about things or something? I see it quite often (not just for this game but in a lot of places) and Im curious.

because Stardew Valley is a game that attracts all sorts of ages, sometimes people older than 18 feel uncomfortable playing with someone much younger than them (and vice versa, a teenager may be uncomfortable playing with someone over 10 years older than them). there's no real easy way to keep both crowds comfortable + safe, but we're always open to suggestions and feedback
