New Movies Part 2 (Very long post + spoilers)

I wrote up another batch of movies we could possibly see added to the game. I always enjoy writing these up for everyone to read. Hope you enjoy! My first batch of new movie ideas can be read here! New Movies (Very long post + big spoilers)


Spring Year 4

The Junimos

Poster: A green junimo sitting in a child’s hand.

Movie info: A young boy moves into an old house and befriends the magical creatures known as Junimos.

  • Title Screen: The title is written in flowers and foliage, an old house is in the background
  • Scene 1: A man is sitting in a large armchair by a fireplace, reading a book about Junimos to his daughter.
  • Scene 2: She asks if Junimos are real, he says yes and tells her the Junimos helped fix up their house when he was a boy.
  • Scene 3: The father begins to tell the story, we see him as a young child, he and his parents had just bought a house and plan to fix it up.
  • Scene 4: While exploring the house, he sees a small green creature in a room and chases after it but it vanishes.
  • Scene 5: He tells his parents, but they believe he just saw a mouse, but he sticks firm to what he says he saw.
  • Scene 6: It’s late and night, he is asleep in his bedroom when the green junimo along with some others appear to the boy, waking him up, to his delighted surprise.
  • Scene 7: They tell him if he brings them gifts, they will help fix the house.
  • Scene 8: He collects many different items at the request of the Junimos, flowers, fruits and other things from nature.
  • Scene 9: With the last item brought, a bright yellow daffodil, the Junimos completely transform the house, making it clean and beautiful; the parents are astonished. The junimos wave goodbye to all of them, the boy waves goodbye with a tear running down his cheek.
  • Scene 10: The girl thanks her father for telling her the story, he takes her upstairs to get ready for bed.
  • Final scene: We see the green junimo from the story outside the window, leaving the same daffodil he had brought them many years ago on the windowsill before flying off into the night sky.

Summer Year 4

Last Days of Summer

Movie Info: A romantic love story of two teens falling in love at summer camp, despite being very different from one another.

  • Title Screen: A campfire on the shore of a lake, the title is at the top.
  • Scene 1: A teenage boy named Simon is waiting with a large group of others to be picked up by the camp bus. Another boy named Mark comes up to him and they begin talking.
  • Scene 2: They sit together on the bus and talk all the way to camp, Simon shows his interest in nature and science, Mark shows his interest in sports and physical activities.
  • Scene 3: They arrive at camp and set up in their cabins, they luckily share the same bunk, allowing them to stay close to each other.
  • Scene 4: They engage in camp activities, Simon does poorly at physical activities like climbing walls and tug of war, whereas Mark greatly exceeds. Mark does his best to keep Simon’s spirits up.
  • Scene 5: They go on a hike with a group, Simon has a book of trees and forest animals, he helps the counselor identify things they find on the trail.
  • Scene 6: After the hike, Simon is bullied by some other campers who take his book, Mark steps in and makes the bullies leave Simon alone and give him his book back.
  • Scene 7: Simon is awake in his bunk bed, thinking about Mark, he’s starting to develop feelings for him but is too nervous to tell him.
  • Scene 8: The time at Summer camp goes by relatively quick, Simon and Mark have become good friends, but Simon still hasn’t told Mark his feelings.
  • Scene 9: Only a few days left of camp, tonight is the large bonfire party they have on the last friday of camp, they go home on Sunday. These are the last days of Summer.
  • Scene 10: Later that night, Simon asks Mark to follow him away from the bonfire so he can tell him something. Simon finally tells Mark his feelings with tears in his eyes.
  • Scene 11: Mark pulls Simon into a hug and we see their silhouettes kiss under the full moon.
  • Final scene: We see a close up of their hands holding as they sit on the shore of the lake.

Fall Year 4

Attack of the Monster Pumpkins

Movie info: Something horrible is growing on Old Man Miller’s pumpkin patch, something REALLY horrible…

  • Title Screen: The title is written in pumpkin innards to give a creepy feel to the movie.
  • Scene 1: We see a small town all decorated for Spirits Eve. It’s night time.
  • Scene 2: We see Old Man Miller’s pumpkin farm, the fields are filled with pumpkins, a meteor falls from the sky and lands in the field.
  • Scene 3: Old Man Miller leaves his house and grabs an axe, he heads off into the field to find the source of the explosion.
  • Scene 4: A green goop emerges from the meteor and seeps into a pumpkin, causing it to grow eyes and move around using its vines for legs. We see it lunge for Old Man Miller, all we see is his axe drop to the ground.
  • Scene 5: A few hours later, 2 neighborhood delinquents sneak onto the farm to cause trouble, they begin stomping on pumpkins until large vines wrap around their bodies, again, we don’t see what happens afterwards.
  • Scene 6: The next day we see Sheriff Hanson inspecting the pumpkin patch after the boys were reported missing by their parents. Sheriff Hanson tries to find Old Man Miller and the boys but has no luck, he narrowly avoids being grabbed by a vine without his knowledge.
  • Scene 7: Later that night, the monster pumpkin has grown massive, large spiked vines now cover the fields like a jungle, smaller monster pumpkins begin uprooting themselves from the ground and make their way towards the town.
  • Scene 8: Pumpkins begin attacking homes and residents; people run and hide. Sheriff Hanson tries to help fight them off with his revolver but it does no good.
  • Scene 9: Hanson and an elderly couple hide in a shed filled with tools and gardening supplies, the elderly man sprays the pumpkin with weed spray, causing it to wither away.
  • Scene 10: The residents turn the tide against the monster pumpkins by using weed spray, they eventually make their way to the pumpkin patch to confront the giant pumpkin.
  • Scene 11: All together, they spray the giant pumpkin, causing it to turn into a huge puddle of mush. Old Man Miller and the boys are rescued and the town is saved from the monster pumpkins.
  • Final Scene: Everyone begins walking back to town, we see a small pumpkin seed glow green, indicating the monster pumpkin may not have been completely defeated, leaving the ending on a cliffhanger.
  • End Screen: “THE END?” is written in pumpkin innards.

Winter Year 4

Detective Oliver: The Mystery at the Ruby Hotel

Movie Info: The Ruby Hotel’s treasure has gone missing and it’s up to Detective Oliver to solve the case!

  • Title Screen: The title appears with the Ruby Hotel in the background.
  • Scene 1: Detective Oliver and his assistant Remmy arrive at the hotel.
  • Scene 2: The grand lobby of the hotel is filled with police and guests from all backgrounds, an architect, a lawyer, a movie star, an army veteran and the hotel’s owner himself, Sir Charles Mellington.
  • Scene 3: A display case that housed the hotel’s treasure, a giant ruby has been smashed and the priceless gem is now missing.
  • Scene 4: Sir Mellington informs Oliver about what happened before he arrived. The lights went off and the case was smashed, when the lights came back on, the ruby was missing. He saw the architect run to the restroom after the lights came back on.
  • Scene 5: Oliver questions other hotel guests, getting their stories.
  • Scene 6: Oliver and Remmy look for clues, finding a wooden club with scratches on it near the men’s restroom, a pair of work gloves with pieces of glass lodged inside the fabric left in a trash can and a crumpled-up floor plan of the hotel’s lobby inside the restroom.
  • Scene 7: These clues point to the architect who Oliver questions. The architect states he helped design the hotel but didn’t have any floor plans with him and it couldn’t have been him who stole the ruby, he was eating dinner at the hotel’s restaurant when the lights went off.
  • Scene 8: Oliver then questions the architect as to why he ran to the restroom so quickly after the lights came back on. He claimed his dinner made him sick, which is why he ran to the restroom so quickly. Oliver questions the waiter who confirms the architect’s story.
  • Scene 9: The case goes cold, if it wasn’t the architect, who could it have been? Who else would have access to architect plans of the hotel? It then comes to him, the culprit is Sir Mellington himself!
  • Scene 10: Oliver makes his case in the lobby in front of everyone, claiming only Sir Mellington would have access to the hotel’s plans and to seal the claim, he finds the ruby hidden inside the large coat of Sir Mellington.
  • Scene 11: Sir Mellington confesses, saying the insurance payment he would have gotten for the ruby being “stolen” would have been worth more than the entire hotel and that he planted the evidence hoping the architect would get framed. He is taken away by the police.
  • Final Scene: Oliver and Remmy toast their drinks to another case solved as they sit at the hotel’s bar. The camera moves backwards from the bar to show the ruby back in it’s display case.

I think you need to change your title to something like “Things that should be added in endgame location.” Otherwise, pretty great idea

Thats a pretty vague title to be honest. Thats like saying "Add these to this" Not sure if that title would really get people's attention.
