Solved Legendary fish never return once caught

I am playing on IOS, iPad Pro, game updated to v.1.4 and in year 6 of the game, community centre restored and movie theatre added. I have caught all the fish, including the legendary fish. I understand that legendary fish can only be caught once per day. But now, if I return to the sites, at the right times, I never have the opportunity to catch them again (never see the fish with the hat in the mini game). Is this a bug?

After the recent 1.4 update all legendary fish including Legend can only be caught once per save file.

Ok, thanks, I misunderstood “save file” as a day, not your whole game play.
