Switch [BUG] Communication error ending session

Hey there, my friend and I have been playing co-op on switch for a while now and it's been pretty seamless, apart from occasional freezing. Recently we tried to play and consistently had communication errors ending out games. Sometimes it was on her end and boot her out, sometimes it was on my (hosting) end, and it would end the game. We haven't been able to get further than a few minutes into the day. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the latest switch game update, as nothing else about our system or internet has changed. Thanks!s

Me and my daughter are having the same issue for at least a week now we play together and my switch will say she quit then hers will throw her out and say connection error if possible I hope they fix it soon
