Question about customizing farm

... so like, there's a couple of little water sources on my farm. Is it possible to fill those in, or do I just have to plant around them?

you can only plant around them unfortunately, and you can't move them either ):

there might be some mods that can do it though but i don't know any off the top of my head

There are mods that remove them or reshape them (to make them better suited for rice).

Yes! The little ponds are where I put all my rice, or pretend my animals drink from them.
