I've been making pickled ginger and getting excited that I'm not only feeding people but also helping boost their immune systems. It made me realize that I wish Stardew Valley had more herbs: rosehips, chamomile, lavender, marshmallow root, elderberry, anise hyssop, just to name a few. It would add a fun new dimension to the game getting to heal with food in such a nature based game!

Thank you for making theee best game ever 💜🌻🌼

ooo that would be a cool idea! i wonder if there's a mod for something like that.

I use a tea mod that adds Chamomile and Lavender (Uncle Iroh Approved Teas) and another that adds rosehips and marshmallow root (Joseph's Seed Shop). I highly recommend both of them if you're at all interested in playing modded.

I personally would love more cooking herbs - thyme or coriander or mint. I know that the vanilla game can only have a limited number of crops, but there's so many possible plants to grow! (I am the type of person to flip through a seed catalog like it's a magazine)

I do the same thing with seed catalogs lol

I play on Xbox, so mods aren't really an option. Knowing that these exist may get me to play pc, though I definitely prefer Xbox.

I think it would be cool to be able to go an herbalist route: making flavored honey, tinctures, teas, and salves; though I understand this is not what SV was made for...
