Golden Walnuts question

Is there any particular order to what you should unlock with the Golden Walnuts? Can you unlock the wrong thing and possibly prevent yourself from access to enough walnuts for other things? Thanks in advance!

I don't think you can lock yourself out of areas.

Some things have to be unlocked in order, but then the parrots aren't there yet.

For me, high priority is anything opening access (farm house, parrot express, resort, warp obelisk, bridge to the bone quarry) and low priority are the shop, shortcut out of the volcano, bridge across the lava. I probably forgot some now.

You can not lock yourself out of anything by spending your walnuts in the wrong order. That's why there's extra walnuts after you're done buying all the island upgrades, because there is a cushion that prevents you from needing walnuts locked behind any purchase in order to make the purchase.
