Windows Game won't launch from Steam and says Cloud out of date, files aren't syncing

Hello! I have been playing Stardew on my steam from one PC at my boyfriends house and now I am back at mine, is there a possibility to transfer my saves from his PC to mine or to have steam cloud link up both PC are windows. I have checked the properties and tried to check/uncheck steam cloud. Unchecking it would launch but when I recheck it it'll go back to saying cloud out of date. Could I do a file transfer (would it have to be every save), If I don't have the cloud update would it remove my past save on the other PC and start a new one on mine?

If you turn off Steam Cloud, move your save file folder from your boyfriend's PC to the Saves folder on your PC, and then turn on Steam Cloud again and launch the game, it might fix the issue.
