Hello everyone!
I was decorating my farm recently and realized something that would be an amazing addition to the game: Fountains! I think having fountains of various sizes and styles would add so much life and charm to our farm layouts.
Here are a few ideas on how it could work:
1. The Grand Fountain (Robin's Shop) We could have a large, central fountain available as a farm building built by Robin. It would be amazing if this large fountain had customizable color options (similar to how we can paint farm buildings) to match the vibe of our farms.
2. Medium and Small Fountains (Furniture) For smaller spaces, it would be great to have intermediate-sized fountains available as furniture. These could be themed around the existing catalogs (like a Joja fountain, a Mahogany fountain, a Retro one, etc.), or even come in a brand-new "Landscaping Catalog."
3. An Interactive Mechanic (Optional) While they would be great purely for aesthetics, what if they were interactive? Imagine if we place or build a fountain, and it starts out completely dry. We would then have to fill it up using our watering cans! Once filled, the fountain would be activated, and we could use it in reverse to refill our watering cans whenever we need to.
4. Animal Interactions To make them even more special, it would be incredibly cute if the fountains attracted local wildlife. Imagine little birds or butterflies landing on the edges to take a sip or take a bath during Spring and Summer!
Even if they end up being purely decorative, I think they would be a massive hit for players who love decorating.
