When I created treasure totems during the Qi bean quest, and I held down the button to make a multiples stack, it only created one after I finished.
The same situation occurred when I tried to craft bluegrass, I wasted a lot of materials when I looked at the inventory and there was only one tuft of grass created.
It looks like when I went to go from blue grass to treasure totems, the totem created replaced the grass created in my inventory.
I would also like to mention as a side note, that my home totems have disappeared, and my horse flute disappeared from my inventory. This has happened within the past 3 days of playing.

It's part of an ongoing bug. The only way around it is to craft without a workbench and only having the items you need on hand. With treasure totems, I think it ends up using one totem to make the next, which is why only one remains after crafting multiples. Any crafted item using items introduced in 1.6 seems affected by the bug and has multiple items that can take its place, unfortunately including the horseflute. One of the other threads about this glitch contains a list of affected stuff.

So with the treasure totems as example, make one totem, move it to safety, pick up the next set of ingredients, make the next one etc.

This bug occurs when crafting the following items.

Blue Grass Starter
Heavy Furnace
Deluxe Worm Bin
Fish Smoker
Mushroom Log
Speed-Gro
Treasure Totem
Statue Of Blessings
Deluxe Bait
Challenge Bait
Moss Soup (Cooking)

Due to the crafting bug, Blue Grass Starter and Treasure Totem are in a particularly strange state.
To put it simply, these two items consume themselves as materials to create themselves—a rather peculiar situation.

Another factor contributing to this bug relates to the game's unique consumption item priority system.
Items consumed during crafting are taken from the bottom-right slots of your inventory, causing crafted items to be consumed immediately.
Using a workbench is pointless here; you can only watch as items in your inventory are prioritized for consumption over those in the workbench.

So if you want to craft a large number of Blue Grass Starters or Treasure Totems, the following precautions are necessary:
1. Do not use a workbench
2. Empty your inventory
3. Place the required materials in the bottom-right slot of your inventory (This is important)
4. Perform consecutive crafting actions
5. Be careful, as once materials run out, the crafting will start consuming the Blue Grass Starters or Treasure Totems themselves

The numbers displayed in the crafting menu are "incorrect", so you need to monitor the quantity in your inventory.
