Thank you for your patience as I continue my efforts to overhaul and complete Stardew Druid.
In this release, visual updates have been made to all druid locations. In particular, the farmcave extension that acts as a dual gateway to the grove and farmcave is now a fully realised mushroom cave that responds to Rite of Winds and the Weald.
Rite of Mists is now available, and the corresponding lessons are provided for the Effigy after the Sacred Spring quest. The story content for Rite of Mists will be provided in the next release.
Changes to Mists:
- The channelled effect summons mists, with the theme of 'dampening'. The mists wetten soil, encourage moss growth and apply a 'shock' debuff to monsters
- Mists will trigger ripples in water near to the player, from which a 'depth creature' will emerge. If the creature is hit with Rite of Mists, it will drop a fish. This is the Druid way to fish. Serpents may also appear to provide an opportunity to trade fish for the equivalent of fishing treasure.
Winds will trigger flybys of corvids in the forest, the beach and the farmcave. These flocks will drop forage, fish and other items.
Weald will trigger the appearance of corvids to pet and trade with.
Six more omens/trophies have been added to deepen the Druid item economy.
Six premium potions are available with the final mastery point put into Alchemy, these potions have a greater effect on villagers based on their affinity to magical things.
The runeboard menu has been updated so that available recipes can be browsed and selected by using the 'all recipes' button, the 'sol' option and the 'lune' option.
The boiler room relic quest has been fixed.
There have been various other bug fixes and improvements to miscellaneous things.
Hope you continue to enjoy Stardew Druid and I look forward to hearing your feedback and ideas.
